Plugins Used

Yay, plugins are awesome. Yes? No (if not then why are you here?!?)? Anyways, here are the plugins that I use here at Turbo-Geek, with both a link to their respective plugin pages and a description. Yeah, I’m nice I know. :P

I currently have 24 plugins activated on my site.

Plugin Description
Admin Theme Preview Allows admins to preview installed themes.
Akismet Akismet checks your comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not. You need a WordPress.com API key to use it.
Bad Behavior Deny automated spambots access to your PHP-based Web site.
Browser Sniff Detects web browser type and operating system
Exec-PHP Executes <?php ?> code in your posts, pages and text widgets.
Feed Statistics Compiles statistics about who is reading your blog via an RSS feed and what they’re reading.
FeedBurner FeedSmith Originally authored by Steve Smith, this plugin detects all ways to access your original WordPress feeds and redirects them to your FeedBurner feed so you can track every possible subscriber.
Fluency Admin WordPress 2.5+ only. A rethink of the WordPress admin interface giving it a slightly more modern application-esque feel, inspired by Steve Smith’s Tiger Admin. Firefox, Safari and IE8 only. IE7 soon.
Get Recent Comments Display the most recent comments or trackbacks with your own formatting in the sidebar. Visit Options/Recent Comments after activation of the plugin.
Live Comment Preview Activate to supply users with a live comment preview.
Official Comments Adds functions to distinguish authorised WP user’s comments.
Ozh’ Better Feed Your feeds, on steroid. Add a footer with a copyright, “Add to delicious”, the number of comments… Add anything to your feed. For WordPress 2.5+
Recent Posts Returns a list of the most recent posts.
Reinvigorate Reinvigorate tracking plugin for WordPress.
SRG Clean Archives This plugin is designed to display your archive listings in a clean, uniform, single-query fashion that’s Search Engine friendly on a dedicated page or in your sidebar.

Useless Stats Adds useless stats about posting and comment frequency to the WordPress dashboard.
Viper’s Plugins Used Allows you to display alphabetically what plugins you have enabled on your blog in either a table or unordered list. Also allows you to set custom descriptions for the plugins in the output.
WP AJAX Edit Comments Allows you and your users to edit their comments inline. Admin and editors can edit all comments.
WP-Footnotes Allows a user to easily add footnotes to a post.
WP-SlimStat Track your blog stats. Based on Stephen Wettone’s SlimStat, Jeff Minards’s plugin, Markus Kammerer’s wp-shortstat rewrite. It can be used upon an existing wp-shortstat database: includes an import tool to upgrade your database. Note: disable wp-shortstat plugin, if enabled.
WP-Stats Display your WordPress blog statistics. Ranging from general total statistics, some of my plugins statistics and top 10 statistics.
WWW Redirect Redirects variations of identical domain requests to a consistent uri (i.e. http://abc.com to http://www.abc.com )
WordPress Database Backup On-demand backup of your WordPress database.
