An Attempt at Something

First off, let me just mention that I really do despise having to talk about myself. All that you read here involved a painful experience of the acutest kind (identify which English literature a phrase in that sentence came from and I'll love you forever), and this might as well be the suckiest attempt at a short autobiography [to help fill this page] you'll ever encounter in your life. Now that we've got that out of the way...

So I have four brothers (which makes me the only girl) and was born right smack in the middle of the whole mess. Though being the only girl has its perks, I'd much rather be a boy, really, for my brothers lead less troublesome lives compared to mine. That and I hate wearing girly things. XD I've lived in the Philippines all my life up until two years ago, when our US immigration visas finally got approved and our parents decided to accept it (instead of chucking the whole dealio in the trash like I would've done). Yes, I hated that we had to move. Who cares about living in a first-world country filled with opportunities if your heart is in a third-world country that ensures, at the very least, a happier future?

*sigh*

I am a Born-Again Christian who, no matter how many times I tend to lose perspective for dumb reasons, ultimately believe in the love and forgiveness and sovereignty of God. <3 He has helped me cope with a lot of things over the years and has improved me, from the inside out (yes, Hillsong United love) and for the better. However, I don't believe in forcing one's religion/faith upon somebody else, and since that is not my intention, it seems best to leave this as it is. :)

I'm currently a sophomore taking up Accounting at the University of Florida. Yes, I'm good with numbers. And yes, I actually love Math. I'm not a genius or anything, but I don't have a particularly hard time with it like most people I've met. :P

When I'm not geeking off in front of the computer with all this site stuff, I, like any other normal person, enjoy reading and listening to music and eating sushi and watching all sorts of things. I don't like poetry, though. Or long walks on the beach. :P
