edit: I hate this layout, soo… I’ll put up something new sometime soon. xD
editx2: Yes! I have threaded comments now! :D
editx3: Ha! New-slash-old layout! I wasn’t really ready to let go of it yet, so I fixed it around for fluidity and such. My transparent PNG for ‘turbo-geek.org’ doesn’t show up correctly in IE, though, so I’ve yet to figure out something about that… :/
So! School officially ended on the 1st for me. No more finals and tests and studying. Just glorious hours of lazing around and doing nothing. ♥ Quite an awesome arrangement, if I do say so myself. ;)
It should have been evident from my last post how busy my Spring semester was, hence the 2-month absence. Even though what I did with my schedule (18 credits? NEVER AGAIN) and extracurriculars could be considered suicide, I’d probably do it all again in a heartbeat. I met a lot of great people through my own this semester, I couldn’t be more happy at the steps I’ve been taking, no matter how small they may be. The FSA Yearbook turned out real well, too—I feel like such a mom whenever I look at it. But yeah, I’m pretty much psyched for Fall (especially since because of what I did on the yearbook, I landed a position on the executive board for Kaleidoscope Month) and for finally being a sophomore. Just 4 more months…
Being home’s been a mixture of awesomeness and annoyance so far. The former since I can sleep in as long as I want to without having to worry about anything (aka class). The latter because I’ve now been assigned to clean the whole place after I miraculously transformed me and my brother’s room from a warzone (entirely his doing since I just got back Tuesday) to the best room in the house. :/ Oh well, at least I have something to keep me preoccupied, I guess. Considering I’ve now finished every DVD in the house and have nothing else to amuse myself with at the moment.
Speaking of movies (DVDs, actually, but it’s a nice transition, yes?), for anyone who loves the 2005 movie of Pride & Prejudice as much as I do, please say Most ardently in the comments and proceed to squee with me. :P I don’t feel like I’ve bothered enough people with my love for it, so if you’re up for lots of pesterings on the sweetness of it all, tell me! There’s nothing like obsessing over movies in the comments (reminds me of me and Ellie’s convo about Rent a long time ago).
Summer’s been uneventful so far. Save for my brother flying off to Knoxville, TN by himself for a workshop, there isn’t really much excitement back here. Which makes me finding a job soon all the more important. I’ll go insane if I suffer from too much boredom at home this summer, and I can pretty much feel it starting now. The only question for me is where to apply, since I’m much too picky. :/ I wish someone can just magically drop a job on my lap…

You are so lucky to be out of school! And I most ardently love P&P!!!! “You have bewitched me mind, body, and soul” — I think that is the line, lol. I cant wait for the movie coming out about Jane Austen’s life.

Most ardently! I love that movie. Such a classic love story. *sigh* Hours and hours of just lazing around and doing nothing is the life! *lol* School is only good because our friends are there =P

Congrats on making it through your first year of college! I know it can be a doozy.
Haha, and the summer after your freshie year, when you’re back home, I guess is like that for everyone. It was for me at least. It’s like nothing has changed for your family. Or, well, it has. They want you to do MORE. ACK. I had to play “driver” when I came home and take everyone everywhere. AND clean house.
Anywya, good to see you back to blogging

Aww, I can’t say Most ardently with feelings/meaning in my heart (lol) because I’ve never seen Pride & Prejudice yet! :( Sucks, no?
I’m glad that school’s over for you, atleast you’ll finally have the time to update, revamp your whole site! :D And and.. go to that Incubus concert, AGAIN! :( You make us kids at the P.I jealous, homie! HAHAHA. Bale, 3 times mo na silang makikita samantala kami/ako once lang.

I most ardently love P&P. I watched the really old version of it though (the ones from back then).
I like lazing around doing nothing, but sometimes I go a little crazy and die for something exciting to happen. I usually clean when I get like that. :D

Well congratulations on surviving college freshman! Bum around, yes, bum around!
The Pride and Prejudice you say stars Kiera Knightley, am I right? Maybe I’m wrong. I can’t even spell her name.

Most ardently! Best line of the movie. I adore it. I want my own Darcy.
Yay for being back! I completely understand the craziness of a hectic year, let me tell you, but it’s nice to read your blog again.

Aww, lucky you with school pretty much finished for you - I wish I was the same, but I in fact have exams coming up, ohh dear :(
It does sound like the last semester would have been insanely busy, but well done on getting through it :)
But aww, afraid I wasn’t big on the 2005 Pride and Prejudice, I feel so left out, but I guess I’m just a purist, and like the versions true to the book.
