there and back again

Finally, I’m back again! :P

So the main reason for the long absence is, of course, school. I was stupid enough to think that I can handle 18 credits this semester, and so far, I’m pretty much sucking at it. Not only that, I decided that this semester, I was going to be more active in FSA, so not only am I part of the FSA Yearbook Committee, I’m part of the Barrio Fiesta Committee as well. xD I’ve got tons and tons of stuff to do, and whatever work I do or finish, it’s never enough. Ugh. I need to learn time management skills, like ASAP, if I ever want to see the light of day again… xD

As you all can hopefully see, I have a new layout up! Which I really really like. Don’t get me wrong, I ♥ Jason Dohring, but I think I’ve reached that point where all I want to look at [at my site] is a simple, well-designed and well-coded layout. Also, it doesn’t hurt that I’m fond of argyle. xD Some Frappuccino spilled in my backpack a week or two ago, so now my 3-year-old argyle Girbaud wallet is sticky and retired. I guess this is a commemoration of some sort, heh.

Enough about awful-sounding things, though! Because I went to see my most favorite band in the whole wide world (aka Incubus) on Monday last week, and I should still be squeeing and fan!girling about the whole thing. xD I lost my voice, took lots of pictures and recorded some videos. And me losing my voice automatically means that the concert was one of the most amazing shows ever. ;) I’ll elaborate on the show some other time, I guess, when I’ve finally gathered all of the stuff that’s involved in a good concert storytelling (pictures, videos, tickets, set list…). :P

In other news, I’m heading to Orlando on the 23rd to celebrate my dad’s and my younger brothers’ birthdays. :) It’s going to be my first time going to Disney World, haha, but it should be fun. Even though I got sick of everybody during my month-long winter break, I miss my family. xD

Hm. I have a class in about an hour. I’ll do the whole catching up later (’cause evidently, I didn’t get to do much of that the last time).

    ARGYLE!!!! =)

And p.s. seriously, I’m glad you’re back again. Because I always love your blogs!

You’ll get through this semester. I took 18 credits my FIRST semester of college, so I know how busy it can be. But when you’re a science major ALSO, 18 credits translates to about 22 hours of class/week because of lab time that’s NOT in the credit hours. It sucks. But anyway. Good luck with all of your responsibilities this semester. Even though you’ll be busy, I’m sure it will be a very rewarding semester for you!

Sounds like you’re doing well with everything, and still keeping time to have fun. Take care!!

I freaking love argyle with a severe passion, so yay you. I probably need time management skills as well. Or perhaps a course on prioritizing because I suck at that. Really bad. Glad you had fun at the concert, I totally understand obsessions. I’m so excited for Jack’s Mannequin this month, I’m seriously dying, gah.

Stoked to see you back!!!! And simple layouts are almost always the best. I’m obsessed with the font you used in this layout. Gorgeous! I’ve only been to DW once myself and I didn’t ride any rides. It was for Grad Night and I went there to dance instead. Enjoy yourself though. There’s a lot to enjoy. Happy to have you back!

This layout looks great. Simple and clean. :) Jason Dohring rocks, though. :)

Ah, Incubus. :) I really should move to the States. That way, I can see my favorite bands, and then steal your wall. ;)

I think the layout is cute. It’s good that you’re paying your respects to your long forgotten wallet. lol.

It takes a lot for a person to lose her voice so I bet it was awesome. Maybe you could post the pictures some other time.

I really like the simplicity of this layout and plus you’re kind of paying respects to your wallet, so it serves a double purpose. :D

I’ve never been to a concert before, but I envy you for the fact that you more than likely had a lot of fun. I can’t wait to see the pictures.

I love this layout. It’s beautiful. Wait you went to see Incubus? Which also happens to be my number one most favorite band in the world! Ahhhh, when will that time come for me? Boohoo. But hurrah for you, I know how it must feel, being able to see your favorite band live. Can you post pictures? Of dear Mr. Boyd? Yay.

    Condolences to your wallet. :C
I love your layout. Did you code it by yourself? I’d love to have a layout like this. :D

Oh, and good luck with going to Disney World!

Don’t you just hate school? *throws up* Uhm, sorry, I throw up whenever I mention school. *throws up again* Eww. But anyway, good luck practicing your time management skills - or lack of it. I’m sure you’re going to live. I hope.

The new layout looks good. *thumbs up* I especially love the header image. Nice work! Are you open for suggestions though? If not, then bear with me, lol. A centralized layout would be nicer, so is a bit lighter font color. :D

Fangirl alert. Boohoo! Lucky you for seeing Incubus in the flesh and losing your voice. Gaah. It’s been so long since I last went to a concert. I’ll be visiting again for the pictures, haha.

Take care on your trip to Orlando and Disney World. That should be very interesting. :)

    Incubus = ♥
Okay well, I’ve said too much stuff about Incubus on your Multiply account already so I’ll lessen it to that, want to thank you again though for the fab pics you’ve took during that gig you went to! :P

Yay! I assume this is a CSS powered layout as well? *apir* I love every single bit of it!
Well, we’re on the same page in regards to school, ugh, especially now that it’s almost March, near graduation day.. So much stress and pressure just for the sake of getting a good grade, for college.. :|

Have fun in Orlando and Advanced Happy Birthday to your Dad and younger Brothers! :D Wheeee! Disneyland, enjoy every second of it, hahaha. ;)

I love your simple layout! It is well coded! I also adore the diamond blue on the top. It reminds me of a sweater -D

Are you filipino? Because you joined FSA… not sure if that’s in school or an organization outside of it ^_^ Just wondering lol

OMG, you went to a concert feat. Incubus! You’re lucky! I’m going to go to the Rockstar’s Taste of Chaos Concert feat. 30 Seconds to Mars, Aiden, Senses Fail, and some other bands. I can’t wait. I hope the concert is so good that I lose my voice too -)

I wish I can go to Orlando. My best friend lives up there. I live near Miami, so it’s 4 hours away from each other. Though she’s coming down. So I can’t wait -D I hope you have a great time up there when you get there. Lol.
