So. I never really thought that I would ever go back to the whole blogging scene. Especially with my fondness at having an offline life once more that’s full of sporadic going-tos and hanging-outs, as well as classes and “studying”. But, surprise surprise, here I am back in action. Again, if I may add, and at least for the meantime, until I move back up to Gainesville and school starts killing me. :P
First off, let me just get this off my chest: Jason Dohring = all sorts of frickin’ gorgeousness. ♥ I am not even kidding. Ever since I got back home for my Christmas break (which was Dec. 9th, woot), I’ve been watching Veronica Mars nonstop after I ordered seasons 1 and 2 on a random whim. Needless to say it’s my new TV show obsession (though it’s not like I had to add another one to my list…), so I had no other choice but to feature him here using my old-fashioned layout-making. Which is actually quite distracting, now that I stare and think about it… Tehehe. <3
My first semester at college turned out way awesome and better than I ever imagined it would be, which makes me really really happy. :) I’ve made all sorts of wonderful friends, and I managed to get a 4.0 to boot, so yay. Hopefully, I’m more prepared to handle the brunt of next semester, especially since I’m not only taking 3 more credits than what I took this Fall (for a total of 16), but a higher-level weed-out Calculus course as well, after I decided that I wanted to minor in Computer Science. So if I ever disappear for more than 2 weeks at a time, you’ll know why. ;)
Christmas break has been uneventful and boring so far, no surprise there. :P I’ve been doing a lot of propping my butt either in front of the TV or my laptop (’cause I recently got introduced to the wonders of 2-suit Spider Solitaire). Christmas Day involved lots of eating, of course, and playing with Kojo and Chesca. In lieu of presents, I got an iHome and The Sims 2 University from my parents. :) It doesn’t seem like much, but I’ve wanted speakers for my iPod for so long, so that makes me squee. Besides, they’re heavily compensated by my lack in controlling my spending during the semester because I now own a pair of slip-on Chucks, a whole crapload of Threadless shirts (I think they now comprise about 50% of all the shirts I own…), a Canon PowerShot SD700 IS that I got about 2 months ago, Incubus’s Light Grenades, 2 tickets to the Incubus concert in Orlando that sold out in 15 minutes, the VM DVDs I now love to death, and the first season of Criminal Minds which awaits in the Yulee office upon my return to UF. And those are just the things I can think of from the top of my head! xD Yeah, I have to go learn how to control myself next semester…
I finally got a haircut after a year and a half, so now, my hair is ridiculously short. :/ So ok, it was actually cut an inch or two below my shoulders, but it is still too darn short for my taste, bah. I don’t think I’ll ever get my hair cut again, unless it’s a trim. I always end up hating it afterwards. -___-;;
Ok, enough storytelling for now. I have a lot of catching up to do. ;)
edit: Bah. This layout works in IE6 but refuses to cooperate in IE7. Do I hate IE or what?!? :/

Yay, so glad to see you back, with a snazzy layout and everything. Sounds like your first semester was great, and congrats on the four-oh gpa, that’s very nifty.

Yay, I’m so glad you’re back. I MISSED YOUR LAYOUTS TO DEATH, did you even know that? I can’t find inspiration in layouts anymore, well in CSS — Lindsey has my vote. BUT YOU, LAYOUT GOD, completes the whole thing!
