Here’s another simple new layout to stare at. Took down the themes for this one because I want people to guess who’s featured in it (guess correctly and I’ll love you forever, haha!). :P But yeah, am hearting it quite a bit more than I should because I think it turned out pretty nicely. It isn’t too simple, but it isn’t too busy either. :) And the whole anonymity behind it amuses me to no end. Yay. ♥
* I apologize to IE users for this layout, though. As much as I tried to make it cross-browser compatible, I couldn’t, for the life of me, figure out how to make the background align with the image since IE ate up a pixel from the bg image. Not only that, changing the positions of my headers messes up everything, so I’d rather not do anything to it anymore. I did my best. :| /edit: Yay! I managed to fix things up thanks to WP’s theme switcher plugin. :D Awesomesauce.
I was sick for 2 days and had a sore/inflamed throat the whole week last week. Ate a whole crapload of Edy’s Whole Fruit popsicles (yumyum) and Ricola candy to help get rid of the pain in my throat, even if only for a little while. Pretty eh. I don’t like getting sick, even if it does mean I get to rest. I can only hope I don’t get those severe migraines once I’m in college, or else I’d be dead without my mom to take care of me. :P
Work’s been ok. Ms. Lovely and her family finally arrived from the Philippines last Monday, and it was awesome getting to see Kojo again. *squee* I missed him so much. Ms. Lottie was so relieved since apart from her job, she had been doing the work of 2 other people as well, and they both did extremely different stuff in the office. xD At the beginning, I started out as someone who would just file papers and make reviewers. Now, because of all the leaving, I also answer the phone half of the time (with Ate Vianca answering the other half and Ate Carian answering most when she’s in the office), register nurses for their NCLEX exam at Pearson VUE, fax documents to hospitals, scan and fix all these batches of nurses’ resumes, etc. So now, they’re being ehhed by me leaving next week. Ms. Lovely even told me “Don’t leave us! Don’t go to college, it’s not important!” :P
College better be fun, or I’m going to kick someone’s butt if it isn’t. LOL.
Speaking of! I don’t think I ever told anyone what classes I’ll be taking. So yeah, if anyone was ever interested, here they are in all their glory. ;)
I heart VEC 2100, it’s my fun class. :D
I remembered later on that I wanted to take up a foreign language, preferably French, but all the introductory classes in every foreign language had 5 credits. I was already enrolled for 13, and the max is 15 per semester. Huge bummer, but hopefully I can take it in the spring. :)
Out of those 5 classes, only 2 have the textbook/s for that class listed, and I’ve already ordered them from the UF Bookstore. My First Year Florida book even arrived the day after I placed my order! So fast. So amusing. xD Lol.
Am so confused at all the stuff I’m supposed to be bringing. The only things me and Sarah are sure of are our bedding stuff, our refrigerators (yes, one for each of us), a microwave, an alarm clock, our laptops (yes! I got one last Friday and it’s a Toshiba Satellite ♥) and our iPods. Haha. We both figured that we could just decide whatever else we wanted/needed when we get there and shop at Target or WalMart or whatever (since she’s a junior, she can bring her car without having to worry that much about horrendous parking on campus). But yeah, if anyone has any suggestions whatsoever on very important stuff to bring, it’d be highly appreciated. :)
Hm. Seems like I’ve rambled long enough. :P Shall be off to return comments now. And catch up on all my wonderful eljay friends. ♥ Later days.

You’ve piqued my curiosity. I can’t stop staring at the layout, trying to find out who it is.
Hope you have fun at college. =p I hate it here in the Philippines. I feel as if the education I’m getting isn’t worth the money I’m spending. =\
Yay for getting a laptop. I’m thinking of getting one myself. :)

Hey Keng :) I like the new layout, it’s simple but really pretty. Sorry to hear about your cold. Funny how you eat popsicles and candy to feel better though, lol. And World Herbs & Vegetables sounds like a really fun class. I haven’t heard of that before XP

I heart the layout, tis very nice. I have no idea who it is but my first inclination was William Beckett because I see skinniness. Perhaps also because of the TAI lyrics as a title, lol.
Anywho, I hope you have loads of fun once college starts. Your classes sound interesting. It’ll definitely be…different. But fun. All sorts of new things and they treat you like an adult, which feels amazing, let me tell you.

I was going to guess the person in the layout is Jim Morrison, but I doubt he would have worn a messenger bag. So I’m out of guesses.
You can only have 15 credits max?? That’s so few!! I took 18 credits my first semester, and that wasn’t toooooo busy.
Bring drapes or blinds, as a suggestion. And a mirror. Those are what I’d tell ya to bring.
Take care!!

*Glomps layout*… sorry.. I didn’t even ask if I could take a bite out of this yummy new layout! Delicious. Sorry to hear you’ve been sick lately! I truly hate being sick, and I don’t enjoy lazing about when I know I could be doing other things. OHMYGULAY! Kooojoooo xD I remember the photo you posted up when he left for the Philippines.. that kid is too cute for his own good. Glad to hear that work is okay and thtat you’ll be missed. Ehh.. college.. how frightening. It better be SUPER for you! And your classes sound so.. wow.. exotic and unfamiliar to me… they sound very exciting though! And lucky you that you only need textbooks for two of those… I’ve got textbooks for all of my subject at the moment.. *back breaks* Gahh.. Oh, and I SO apologise for not visiting back as frequently… the internet isn’t being my friend at the moment, and I’ve got my head buried in books. Apologies =D.. to make up for it, I tried typing out an essay to my fellow Rent Lover in the form of a comment. TAKE CARE!

Sorry I don’t have a clue whos on the layout. It’s simple but it works. It’s elegantly blissful.
College IS A FREAKING BLAST! But its what you make of it… Really! You should be there to learn, but make some friends and plans with them.

Eww statistics.
You used me word awesomesauce! Lovely word. Bring hair things like blow dryers and stuff like that, toiletries, shower shoes, cleaning things to mop and clean up other stuff, stapler, tacs, forks and spoons, bowls and cups….a calendar or planner, shaving kit, bathrobe, stuff to hold your shower stuff, napkins, floss, detergent and stuff to wash your clothes, alcohol (not the kind you drink)…that’s all I can think of right now
Congrats on your lappie.
