edit: I was just informed that I’m going to be working every day from now on until the day I leave in August for Gainesville! Gah! I am tres excited about this, especially since my prospects at earning enough to cover that award gap has brightened up. :D Surrender all your worries to the Lord… <33 Not only that, my AP results arrived yesterday and I got 4s on both of my AP classes!! Yayyy. :)
I think it sucks how I find myself less and less inclined towards my domain nowadays. A huge part of me just wants to close my site again and stay hidden in eljay where I can not care about layouts and not care about the whole commenting process. Gah. But then not everyone has an eljay (and I don’t really want to friend everyone either) and I like that I’m making new friends and getting in touch with the old. *sigh*
This bites.
So anyways. I finally received this prize I won at a Fanscape contest I entered last December. After 6 months, lol. So yeah, I got all these CDs and DVDs from Warcon Records, which is just awesomesauce. I’ve only managed to listen to one CD so far, though, because I can’t find a battery I can use for my discman (our digicam seems to eat up every battery we have) and I don’t want to put them all in DarthPod only to delete them later (waste of time). :/
I’m unsure whether I should ask for a laptop or a PC to bring to UF. I know a PC is bulky and all, but I think it’ll pretty much take up the same space I would allot a laptop, and I could get more for less. I dunno. I mean, I could wait that 2 years until I’m required to get a laptop (which is mandatory for Accounting juniors). Besides, I’m not going to be lugging my laptop to every class if I decide to get one since it’ll be too much of a temptation to not listen and such. I guess it’ll all depend on what stuff Sarah, my roommate, will be bringing and whether everything will fit since the rooms seem so small, lol.
Speaking of UF. I’m very much nervous about the whole thing. :/ I don’t like that I have to live away from my family (even though it means no chores, haha!) and that I have to budget and stuff. *shudders* I wish I was 5 again and totally dependent on my parents for everything. :(
I need to clean my room as it resembles a pigsty now. But I’m too lazy. xD

And GOSH.. 6 months for an award is SO not a long time. o_o. And personally I’d choose a laptop because its portable and isn’t always stuck in your room. Aww, I can understand your hesitancy about living away from your family, but just think of it as your next big adventure!

Anywho, congrats on the money making, that’s always a good. As for the laptop/pc, I find that I don’t travel a lot with my laptop, but if I need to do a research paper in the library, it’s a lot handier to take your laptop with you so you can type the paper and have all your research materials with you, rather than checking out five hundred books. But that’s pretty much the only advantage. I know people who have PCs. Oh, and congrats on the AP exams :D

A lot of people has started to get sick of their domains, and blogs… I think it has been around a long time and people are getting tired of them.. I dont know.. I am getting kind of sick of it too, but in another way I still love it as much as I did when I started..
I would pick a PC, just because it’s better then a laptop. It’s so much easier to ruin a laptop and it outdates so fast…
