[edit] Fuck. Fuck USF St. Pete. Ohmygoodness, I am just SO pissed off with them right now, I cannot even begin to explain.

Guess what? USF has just decided to tell me that I got in to their university’s Honors Program, the very thing that I have been waiting to hear ever since I was given the choice of attending either the University of Florida or the University of South Florida. USF offered me $18,000 in scholarships while UF “awarded” me loans, but I still chose to go to UF because of the whole better education deal. AND NOW THEY TELL ME I’M IN THE HONORS PROGRAM JUST NOW?!? When all the deadlines have passed and I’ve enrolled at UF?!? Bullshit!!!
Gah, I am teeming with anger right now, I can’t even explain! Why hadn’t they told me this sooner so I would’ve had that no-brainer USF-is-the-#-1-choice!! thought earlier on?!? AND NOW IT’S TOO LATE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT, STUPID FUCKTARDS.
ALL MY SCHOLARSHIP CONTRACTS WITH USF WERE DUE JUNE 1.
Oh, and it doesn’t help that no one named Steve called for me today. Shit. Can’t those people at Linens-N-Things just call me and tell me that I failed that stupid test?!? I mean, it’s better they tell me now than me having to get all worked up about it for the next couple of days. *shakes head* Stupid day. [/edit]
Kojo left with his dad for the Philippines yesterday. ‘Tis sad. :( He’s going to be gone for 2 months, which pretty much sucks since I adore Kojo to death–he’s my best friend. ^^ I miss him and all our Power Ranger talks already, bah.

In other news, I finally saw the 2005 movie of Rent!! I am… speechless; I just ♥ it a lot. Which I find weird since I’ve never (and I mean ne-ver) liked musicals (I started Moulin Rouge and Chicago but never really got into it…). But yeah, I’m now obsessed. It got me through work yesterday and today, lol, highly amusing stuff. See, I’ve decided not to bring my iPod to work because the headphones I use (link) constantly get in the way, so in my head, I kept singing Seasons of Love and Tango Maureen and Today For You and La Vie Boheme while doing my file clerk-ish stuff. :D So today, when my parents picked me up, not only did I get myself Anthony Rapp’s book Without You : A Memoir of Love, Loss and the Musical Rent, I also bought the movie’s OST along with it! Hee. Didn’t I say I’m obsessed? :P
In other other news, I finally got around and took that test thing at Linens-N-Things today. xD All I can say is, I hope I get a call from a guy named Steve tomorrow. ‘Cause if he does, it means I passed, but if he doesn’t… bah humbug. ;)
Nothing exciting’s been going on lately. I’m still trying to finish my S1 Gilmore Girls marathon. And I’m starting to read George Orwell’s 1984 again (for the nth time); hopefully this time around, I’d actually finish the book. xD
Shall return comments soon–I have a splitting migraine so I’m off to just close my eyes and obsess about Rent more and listen to La Vie Boheme. ♥

wow, I am really sorry to hear about the school situation. That is really messed up. I never understood why certain things work out the way they do, especially when it is just screwing things over in the end.

OMFG! I LOVE YOU! And Rent! I swear.. NOBODY I know has seen it and obsesses like I do! I rewatch Tango Maureen ALOT! I love it! And La Vie Boheme is my favourite song sequence from it. I love the storyline.. its just… *sigh* No words can express my feelings forthis movie XD. Its currently my fave asides from V For Vendetta.

I know… that movie.. it just really endorses the Pro-Liberty and Freedom of Expression thing. I love it. And I agree… the way they expressed these beliefs through song was just… a-MAZING. And rambling about Rent is never a bad thing.

My roommate kept playing a song from the musical Rent. It was some lady talking about jumping over the moon. lol I thought it was amusing but I’m not really into musicals. I never finished watching Chicago but I loved Moulin Rouge!
As far as school goes, I’d suggest calling them about it and inquiring if there’s anything you can do since they failed to notify you of an essential detail in your decision making process.

Yeah, I totally gave up on working, lol. I’m just going to slack. And I’m happy to hear you love RENT! I adore that movie and I can’t wait to see it on Broadway, very excited. And I actually recently finished reading 1984. It was entertaining. A bit frightening considering the concept and whatnot. Fun stuff.
As for Aesthetic, it didn’t get hacked…I just got sick of looking at it and all the old crap that was in there, lol. I might keep it up just to mock at times or whatnot. And for Netflix, I have the one that’s three dvds at a time. Its like 19 dollars, but useful considering the amount of movies I watch. It also lets me watch more obscure things like certain British TV shows.
