His friend, who moved here the same year, got moved back two years. America is just crazy. They push you back, but what they don't realize is you're already far ahead than the students here. The curriculum back home is much tougher. I guess the good news is that school will be a breeze for you, and you can spend more time finding the right people to be friends with. Well, take care! Especially the days when I'm staying home and want to do all sorts of fun stuff, and they're like "No, you have to vacumn, do the laundry, do the dishes etc etc." I really hate it. That really sucks that you got enrolled in grade 11 instead of grade 12. For making friends, just try and get involved in clubs and teams and stuff.
