New layout. Much simpler than the Silverchair one, but still pretty much the same. ^^ *lovelove*
So, I’m back from the province. It was boring, as expected. Pretty much spent the whole time watching tv or sleeping. Ho-hum. We finally said our goodbyes to my grandfather, though. He didn’t cry. He just said it was good and that we should take care of ourselves. I’m kinda thinking he never got to fully grasp the concept that we’re not going to be there to visit him in the province anymore. *shrugs* I hated being in Ilocos, but I miss my grandfather already. -_-
I don’t know why, but I suddenly had the urge to actually put up content. I mean, before, I hated having to put up content for the enjoyment of others because I didn’t make my site for them. *kicks review site that gave me bad points for content* So I pretty much never bothered with them. These past few days, though, seeing as I’m going to have a really long summer vacation, I figured what the hell, it gives me something to do. :P I haven’t even started on it, though, but whatever. Lol.
Thanks muchly for the comments. :) I agree that everyone doesn’t always have the option of starting over, unlike me, but the thing is, I don’t want to start over. I just want to live here in the Philippines and be with my friends and stuff. I’m scared of things that are out of my comfort zone, and this whole moving thing and going away eats me up inside because it’s something I have no control over. *sigh* But yeah, I guess I’ll just have to make the best of my current situation. :)
So far, the only perk I see in leaving is that we’re all going on some sort of mass shopping spree because stuff here are WAY cheaper than when compared to their $ prices. I just hope my dad sees my logic that CDs are a necessity… Lol. :D

I know exactly what you mean, I’ve felt the same way with all of my past layouts for the past…wow, 2 years? Now, I’m finally starting to actually put up content for myself, and it makes actually having a site a lot better :P

I hope that you have a good move! The States isn’t as bad as it seems. I grew up in the Philippines and I believe there are more oportunities here than in the PI. But I still love the PI. :D
Anyway, I think you should URGE your dad to let you have a shopping spree and for CDs too. Starting off here w/o anything is kinda hard. I mean things just seem so expensive. But when your family gets to settle everything will be just fine!
I personally haven’t been to NY but depending on the where in NY i hear its great!

As far as moving to the USA - you will see that indeed things are MUCH cheaper over there. LOL When I moved to France, I was shocked and dismayed at the prices of clothing! I was like, “I am not paying that! I refuse!” LOL
I didn’t want to move to the France at first either, I fought my mom about it all the way. Now that I’m here, I like it. I haven’t decided whether I want to stay permanently or not, but I’m giving it a try. Grant the USA that - give it a try and if you don’t like it, you can ALWAYS go back. The Philippines is your country and you’ve lived there all your life - it’s NORMAL that you don’t want to leave. I just hope that everything works out for the best for you :)

Aww, that’s great that you’re close to your grandfather. I wish I had a relationship like that with both of mine. On my mother’s side, he passed away before I was born, and on my dad’s, he hardly spoke Filipino / English. He always spoke in Chinese, and I never truly understood him. The province — I like visiting when we go back to the Philippines. I guess it’s just nice to be with nature sometimes.
