he’s 29!

New layout! Hee. *heart* It’s Brandon Boyd ’cause he’s turning 29 on the 15th. *squee* So adorable. :D
This has been a most stressful week. I never knew being part of the badminton team could be so problematic. :-| Just because of a single person, we would’ve lost both of our trainers (Dino and David L). :cry: Gah. Looking back at the whole thing makes me feel sad ’cause me, Nens, and Tricky, the badminton players, were stuck in the middle of this huge fight that’s been going on since last year. Imagine having to stress about the problem every single night from Sunday to Thursday. -_- Emotionally exhausting.
Haha, I wasn’t supposed to post anything about the GALs event out of embarrassment, but yeah, whatever. On Saturday, we fought with St.Scho Marikina and Poveda A (national team-level players, bah), and we obviously lost as both schools were so friggin’ amazing. On Sunday, we won against Paref-Rosehill but lost against St.Scho Manila. Lol. I slept at 5am that day and had to wake up at 6.30am, so by the time we fought St.Scho Manila, I was so drowsy. XD
Well, I’m happy to report that my legs don’t hurt much anymore! Except now, all the pain has transferred to my forearm that I can’t even hold a racket properly now. T_T David L, his younger brother Michael, and Dino made us do these racket drills and smashes, two sets of 20 each, last Thursday. Then after that, we practiced overhead swinging wherein when you hit the shuttlecock, it’s supposed to reach the opposite end of the court. So yeah, now my arm’s in agony and has had a medicated patch attached to it since Monday. Pfffft.
I just remembered that some people were wondering about some stuff from my previous posts. So yeah, might as well answer them. :)
Why school ends on March 18.
School ends in March for us since April-May is the summer months here in the Phils. School starts in June (which is the start of the rainy season) and ends in March, save for those international schools that follow the time frame of schools in the US.
Intramurals?
In school, intramurals is this thing wherein you pick a sport that you would want to play and you get grouped in colors so that you can get to know the other people from the other classes/year levels. It’s a way to get to play something you like and to interact with other people in the community that is CL. :D (At least, that’s what I believe it is, haha)

man. i haven’t been by for ages . I am sorry (= ♥ but i LOVE the layout, it’s amazing. badminton is tiring.. hah hope you’re arms aren’t too painful ! :D that’s a strange school year. in england we don’t get summer holidays till even later.. i think i break up july 20th or something!

hehe, we should do the saturday badminton thing again! it was so much fun! miraculously, my legs dont hurt! though… the right side of my neck and the shoulder attached to it are kinda stiff and sore. XD

Ah, that school schedule makes sense. It would suck to have to be at school when the weather is beautiful outside and perfect for outdoor activities!
