This is the first Christmas I bothered to buy extra-special gifts for my friends. Or even just gifts for that matter. Normally, I wouldn’t care (heh heh), so it’s all pretty weird. Lol. I totally splurged on gifts for my friends, leaving me with no money whatsoever. Until last Saturday, that is. ;)

Me and my family went to the mall last Saturday, and my dad gave each of us PhP3,000 to spend on stuff for ourselves. Considering the fact that there are five of us (and others managed to snag more than the amount aforementioned), my dad spent a lot. Lol. The mall we went to was sucky (I would’ve preferred it if we went to Megamall instead where I could’ve bought band shirts from Top40 and CDs from Tower Records), so I only bought 3 CDs: Vanessa Carlton’s Harmonium, Dashboard Confessional’s Swiss Army Romance (why I wasted my money on this album, my least favorite DC CD, is beyond me), and a compilation CD called Victory Style 5 featuring songs from bands that are signed under Victory Records. It had an unreleased TBS song, so I felt that I had to get it. Lol.

Last Sunday was the Christmas party for my mom’s side of the family. All of my cousins stayed here to sleep, so on that same night of the party, we went to the Marikina River where there are a lot of stuff being sold and scoured the place for about 2 hours. I got pirated CDs of The Starting Line’s Say It Like You Mean It, Brand New’s Deja Entendu, and Less Than Jake’s Pez Collection. Bah. Yes, they’re pirated, and I would’ve gladly bought originals if they were friggin’ sold here. *kicks country* Original CDs here are cheap (only $8), but the choices usually suck. *sigh*

Expect a new layout soon. Or something. I’m not really sure if I can finish it before Christmas, but whatever. :P

This is the most adorable Christmas layout you’ll ever see. :D And since I’m plugging, I’ll go plug Intricate, the official fanlisting for Kjwan, as well. ;)

    I never buy anything for anyone. But this year i decided to buy some friends something. i ended up wasting all my money. and i was obviously going to buy something for my boyfriend but i didnt expect to feel so giving this year. haha

    wow 3000 php..imagine what you can buy with that..not much but STILL it is 3,000 pesos! hahaha! that’s what i love about christmas in the philippines..buying stuff for your friends and being the shopaholic that i am i’d probably consume 3000 pesos in 30 minutes. hehe =p

    you should see the selection of CD’s here..OMG. they don’t even sell incubus’ album..what more are the chances they’ll sell a CD from a virtually unknown but really really good band?

    Yay gift alert! :P lol. Sometimes what I give is better than what I receive from my friends. Haha. But I just love seing their faces at how much they love what they got from me. That’s a good gift. I especially love this one girl who received a gift from me in the morning and althroughout the day she was “Thanks so muchhhh!!!” hehe. That felt really good. So satisfaction guaranteed! LOl
