I got tagged by Joni and Anna:
I apologize for the picture quality—I actually just took a picture of that picture (which was in a frame) using my cellphone when I was in my mom’s office the other day. XD I used to be so adorable, haha.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! :)
Summer started two weeks ago for me, but it’s been far from my ideal of sleeping in until insane hours (last summer, I’d sleep in until 4PM, LOL) and doing nothing at home, at least for the first few weeks. I managed to accumulate a whole lot of extra stuff in my dorm in the course of a year (no surprise there), so I had to fix everything once we got home. I’ve also been working at where my mom works, doing data entry for their workshops and seminars, which I’m going to be doing until the end of the month (hopefully). I guess it’s not so bad. I just don’t like it when I’m sleep-deprived and I have to work for at least 7 hours, heh.
Summer classes start tomorrow, meep. I’m taking two business classes online (Principles of Marketing and Principles of Management) for the whole summer (as opposed to just the first half of summer, which is Summer A, or the second half, which is Summer B). So yeah, more things to prevent me from pulling my hair out out of boredom! Haha. XD
A couple of weeks before classes ended, I decided to go home as a spur-of-the-moment thing on the pretense that I had to go to the beach (Gainesville doesn’t have beaches; it’s funny how many times my brothers asked me this) for my Intro to Oceanography class. My stay turned into an extended 5-day weekend at home, and before I left, Mr. G had managed to peck off a small piece of rubber from my mouse’s scroll wheel. It was uncomfortable, so my dad agreed to get me a new one.

Thanks to Mr. G, that is what my new mouse looks like now. >__> At the beginning, it was just another small peck like what he did to my old mouse. The next day, he ended up biting all over the exposed section of the scroll wheel, resulting in the disaster you see in the picture. And that’s not even the worst of it. :/
The other day, me and my youngest brother decided to watch some movies on my laptop. I fell asleep about 20 minutes into it because I was so tired (I had just gotten back from work), but my brother proceeded to watch. About 2 hours later, I woke up to find my brother sleeping, my laptop open, and Mr. G perched on the side of my computer, his beak biting onto my keyboard:

He had taken off my Esc and F1 keys with that stupid beak of his, meh.
To add insult to injury, my protection plan from Circuit City (that I’ve NEVER used) apparently didn’t cover keyboard replacement (but it does cover everything else, pfft), so now I’m going to have to spend at least $100 just to get those TWO FRIGGIN’ KEYS fixed. Grrr.
O hai, my name is Mr. G and I go make foodz of your stoopid teknolojeee, woman!

I think esc key and f1 are not so important, well for me. lol. Next time, set up a cam for Mr. G.
I still think you are just pulling the legs of your visitors. lol.
Happy Mother’s Day! Vintage photo! :D

Thanks for doing the meme. I have tons of baby photos that look almost like that one you have — old and turning more yellow every year. Haha. And I used to be adorable too. LOL! Happy mom’s day to your mom!

AHAHAHAHAHAHA what an evil evil bird! My cat just scratches and bites my laptop, but nothing serious.
Eina said on May 12, 2008 at 12:39 pm:
Wow, that’s one hungry/bored parrot! :O I suggest keeping laptops and stuff away from him. Haha.
On a completely unrelated note, I think we have the same laptop, lol.

Bad! Mr G is evil! Mr G is bad.
Your laptop doesn’t really look good without that Esc and F1 keys.
And Mr G looks so mean on the picture. HAHA. He looks possessed. :))
Anywho, happy mother’s day to our moms! Yey!

Yay, you did the meme as well! Ang cute ng photo and soo vintage, ya! :D I used to be adorable too, then age decided to play with my looks.. lol, WHUT?! :P
Mr. G ba talaga name ng bird niyo? The G stands for something, doesn’t it? :P Hahaha. He’s such an evil bird, you guys should put him inside a cage so he won’t cause havoc to you anymore.. does he do that kind of stuff to your brother’s computers/laptops?? :|
And he looks REALLY evil too.. holy crap, kahit siguro hindi mo nilagyan ng devil horn and tail he’d still look evil in my sight.. and a bit funny with those glaring eyes. Hahaha.

Ha, oh, poor bird…and poor you. A hundred bucks for two keys? That seems a bit ridiculous. And that picture is adorable. Summer classes? I love my summers too much I think for summer classes. Good luck though. Online makes life a bit easier though.

@Laarni: I is not pulling my visitors’ legs! We do have a parrot named Mr. G as a pet! Or were you referring to something else? XP
@Juice: Yeah, he has a cage, but we’re too kind-hearted to lock him in all the time. Granted, he was kept inside for two days as punishment after he did that to my laptop, we couldn’t just ignore his constant “Let me out!” pleas. :P
@Eina: I have a Toshiba Satellite. Is that the same? Hehe.
@Anna: Yeah, the ‘G’ stands for something, but ‘Mr. G’ sounds infinitely cooler than ‘Mr. G____’, hahahaha.
