The other day, my youngest brother excitedly approached me about something “unbelievable” he saw at our friendly neighborhood Walgreens: Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans. XD I, being the kind older sister that I am, proceeded to laugh at his face and told him Jelly Belly has been selling them even before we left the Philippines two years ago. He didn’t believe me, of course; he even went so far as to call me the biggest liar ever. I hit him, since it was the only rational thing to do in that situation, and he went ahead and hit me right back.
That’s sibling love right there, yo.
My mom doesn’t understand how we can do such things to each other and say it’s our way of showing affection. Me and my youngest brother have this habit of teasing each other all the time, using phrases like “’cause you’re dumb“, “you’re fat“, “you’re ugly“, etc., with our retorts usually including one of the three aforementioned adjectives, and she always gets hotblooded when she hears us going at it. Of course, it doesn’t seem amusing since you’re just reading the kinds of things we say, but if you hear how we say it and how often we do it you’ll understand. :P
Haha, isn’t my bio image so cool, it’s practically frozen?! XD
I nicked the idea from a Mark (Cohen; RENT) icon I use over at eljay land. It never ceases to amuse me, I must say.
I worked on my *gags* content over the weekend. All the pages are updated, etc., so go check them out if you have nothing else of importance to do to pass the time—it’ll help you fall asleep faster, I’m willing to bet you! I have zero talent in making the boring sound even remotely interesting—in fact, I probably square its dull factor by about a thousand… Ah well, such is the life I lead.
I want to hurl the web hosting company I’m with over a cliff. I’m sick of all the downtime, and it always happens when I’m on a major editing files/fixing stuff around mood. 99.875% average uptime my arse. Too bad I don’t have moolah so I can transfer somewhere else asap. Maybe I should go whore myself down at the street corner…
I’m having way too much fun with the Wayback Machine for my own good.

They sell Bertie Botts Every Flavoured Beans? Wow. I am so slow. I wonder if they actually have one that tastes like earwax. My brother’s mean to me, but he’s not showing affection. He’s just being is mean, and rude self. At first, I thought your picture was broken, but then I read your blog and I was all, ‘Oh.’ :) I could always host you on my website. Feel free to send me an email. ;)

I never knew about that! I thought that only existed in Harry Potter! Hahaha. I sooo want a brother so that we have a hitting/wresting thing just like youu lol.

I have them before. I actually got stuck with vomit. It was gross but I carried on getting some good flavors and some horrid flavors. I have the same relationship with my siblings. It’s love/hate? & Downtime does suck but if you ever let me know. I love reading your blog.

My sister and I abuse each other fairy regularly too and my mother too does not understand the way we communicate lol. Oh wow… there’s a preview to my comment as I type it, haha, it’s so amusing!
Anyway, thank you for your comment :)

My brother’s the same way. He tells me (jokingly) all those mean things brothers say.

“That’s sibling love right there, yo.” —- That did me in. Reminds me of the days when I was younger and my sister still lived here. It’s amazing what we would do to each other!

lol I know exactly what you mean about sibling love. I really don’t like cheesy affections like hugging and I love you. With my brother I call him names and he’d tell me I’m fat. Hah, it’s so fun.

But it is sibling love! It is!
I’m kind of scared to try every flavor jelly beans. What if I get a weird, gross flavor? o.o

every flavor bean?? that certainly piqued my curiosity, do elaborate next time. i’d love to hear about these magical beans (not to be confused with the ones jack received to grow up beanstalk, right?). and your brother and you are cute (”awwww”).
so i saw that “picture,” read what it said, and then kept refreshing to wait for it to load! lol. good thing no one saw that happen. :D
whoring is good money.

thats mainly the reason why me and my sister do all of our “sisterly love” crap behind mom’s back cuz she freaks whenever we say mean things to each other. that’s how we show love. sisterly love, yo. haha

If you want to get realllllly lovely for your mum, start pulling out yo’mama jokes in front of her. Me and my 22 year old sister still love them…
“You’re an idiot”
“Your mum’s an idiot”
“HEY!”
Get’s her everrrrrry time! :P

LOL Sibling love, I really dont think there is any other way to show it is there? LOL. Me and my brother are old enough to know better, I mean he is 8 years older! And we still fight and complain and my mum always calls us children… its fun HA!
Brenda said on Jul 22, 2007 at 8:50 am:
lol… is that true they really sell the Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans??? cause i want one…. :P
if my lil brother call me a “you are ugly, fat ect ect” ill kill him! thank goodness hes a pretty sweet brother :P
Erin said on Jul 22, 2007 at 12:20 pm:
Haha, how old is your little brother? Bertie Bott’s have been around for quite a while! Your sibling “affection” doesn’t sound mean to me… it sounds normal! I think a lot of sibling relationships are like that. “‘Cause you’re dumb” is one of my most commonly used phrases, but with my friends as opposed to brothers. I’m sure you and your brother have a lot of fun teasing each other. :P
This is the second blog I’ve read today expressing dissatisfaction with a host! It’s very sad to hear. :( Or… read. Hopefully the 99+% up-time will be true sometime soon. Nobody likes downtime when it comes to websites.

I have two younger sisters and I’m like that with them.. and I am older so I of course win. But I agree — it is a form of affection.
Sorry about your hosting situation. I don’t think I’ve ever had downtime before on mine..
